About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage and oversee inventory processes for our contractor site. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking, labeling, and organizing inventory materials—such as splitters, construction materials, vaults (for electrical wiring protection), and markers—used in fiber optic cable installation. This position is not in a traditional warehouse but on a contractor site, which may include buildings with small storage areas and dock doors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track materials used in fiber installation projects.
- Verify stock information, unit identification numbers, and ensure proper labeling.
- Perform cycle counts, audits, and inventory checks per company policies.
- Unpackage, sort, and stage materials for production.
- Work independently to prioritize tasks and manage workflow efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in inventory management (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/work outdoors for extended periods.
- Basic computer and Excel skills (a plus!).
- Flexibility in schedule and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
