Job Summary
We are looking for a QC Verifier to support our quality assurance and control efforts. This role is ideal for candidates with entry-level to 3 years of experience in quality control within the electrical or electronic manufacturing industry. The QC Verifier will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing tests on electronic components and systems, and ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of electronic components and assemblies to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct testing procedures using specialized equipment and document results accurately.
- Identify defects or discrepancies in products and report findings to the appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Assist in refining inspection processes to enhance overall product quality.
- Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 9001 or IPC-A-610.
- Support training initiatives by sharing knowledge on quality control practices with team members.
- Monitor inventory levels of testing materials and ensure availability for ongoing inspection activities.
Requirements
- Experience: 0-3 years in quality control within electrical/electronic manufacturing.
- Knowledge of QA Processes: Familiarity with inspection techniques, testing protocols, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and specifications.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to identify defects and discrepancies.
- Measurement Tools: Experience with calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and other testing equipment (training provided if needed).
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to Safety: Understanding of safety practices within a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to Learn: Open to training and adapting to new technologies and processes.
