Position Summary

Naples Vacation Properties is seeking a driven and charismatic Reservation Sales Specialist to join our team in sunny Naples, Florida. This is a high-impact sales role where your primary focus will be connecting with potential guests to present our exceptional vacation rental properties, and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.

We're looking for someone with a proven background in sales—especially in a phone-based environment—who thrives on building rapport and creating trust quickly. You should be confident, persuasive, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences. Your ability to listen, match guests with the right property, and close the deal will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and engagingly to all guest inquiries via phone, email, and other platforms.
  • Effectively present and sell vacation rental properties to prospective guests, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Utilize Streamline VRS to create and manage reservations, generate accurate quotes, and maintain guest communication records.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Naples Vacation Properties' rental inventory and the Naples area attractions/amenities.
  • Guide guests through the booking process, ensuring all details are handled accurately.
  • Proactively follow up with leads to maximize booking conversions.
  • Potentially assist with showing properties to prospective renters in person.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Potentially manage communications via Online Travel Agency (OTA) platforms in the future.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in sales, particularly telephone sales, with a track record of closing deals.
  • Experience in hospitality or travel sales is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a charismatic and engaging phone presence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with potential guests.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working towards sales targets.
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in reservation software (Streamline VRS experience is a plus).
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn extensively about local properties and the Naples area.
  • Strong follow-up skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $28,000 - $36,000 based on experience

Bonus

  • 1% commission on reservations booked - OTE of $72,000

  • 9-5 M-F with willingness to be reachable after hours and on weekends when work demands
