POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tax Coordinator supports the tax resolution and preparation teams by gathering tax documents, financial information, and other necessary documentation from clients. This role requires proficiency in using Logics CRM, THS software, and tax preparation tools to ensure all documentation is collected, organized, and processed efficiently. The Tax Coordinator works closely with Tax Preparers, Tax Managers, and Case Managers to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings and resolutions. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with clients and internal teams are essential for success in this role.
JOB DUTIES:
- Collect and organize financial documents, tax records, and other materials required for tax preparation and resolution.
- Consistently communicate with clients via email, phone, and text messages to request missing or additional information and remind them of outstanding document requests.
- Utilize Logics CRM and THS software to manage client profiles, update case statuses, and document submissions.
- Upload, properly rename, and organize IRS transcripts and other client documents in Logics CRM.
- Analyze reports to identify missing documentation, file discrepancies, or delays, providing actionable insights to Tax Preparers and Case Managers.
- Support mailroom functions as needed, including sorting, scanning, and assembling documents for outgoing mail and handling client correspondence.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all client interactions and adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
REQUIRMENTS:
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with tax preparation software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
