Assistant Garden Maintenance Manager
Better View Landscapes is seeking a driven, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Assistant Garden Maintenance Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about horticulture, enjoys working with clients to enhance their gardens, and has the leadership skills to manage and train a team.

What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for garden maintenance clients, ensuring their gardens thrive year-round.
- Develop and execute seasonal care plans, helping clients enhance and maintain their landscapes.
- Oversee, train, and support gardening crews to deliver exceptional service and quality work.
- Assist with small-scale landscape design and installations, making recommendations to enhance color, texture, and seasonal interest.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to stay informed on new plants, materials, and landscape technologies.
- Identify and address plant health issues, pests, and diseases.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and schedules to ensure efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of experience in landscaping, gardening, or related fields
- Strong plant knowledge and a passion for horticulture
- Great communication & leadership skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Bonus Points If You Have:
- MA Pesticide license
- A degree in Horticulture or equivalent experience
- Experience in garden design and landscape renovation
- Familiarity with New England gardening practices
- Seasonal color and container design experience
- Design skills (Sketching, CAD, and 3D design experience)
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Peak Season (Spring-Fall): 7 AM – 3:30 PM (occasional later hours & some Saturdays as needed)
- Winter: 8 AM – 4:30 PM
