Responsibilities include:

• Regular mowing and trimming of clients' lawns
• Keeping an eye out for signs of pests and diseases on the properties
• Equipment care and routine maintenance
• Conducting lawn installations and repairs
• Undertaking spring/fall cleanups and seasonal gutter cleaning
• Safely operating a range of equipment including zero-turn mowers, grandstands, push mowers, power trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, blade sharpeners, and various hand tools
• Assisting other divisions on larger installation projects as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have valid DL and clean driving record
• Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Work effectively and efficiently, able to follow directions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness/ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with a positive attitude.
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs consistently.
• Available to work a varied schedule (including occasional Saturdays).
• A commitment to the safe operation of each work task.
• Must pass DOT physical requirements

Bonus Points:

• MA Pesticide Applicator’s License
• Experience with professional lawn care equipment

Compensation

$19.72 - $26.23 per hour based on experience and licensing.

Hours

Hours fluctuate seasonally: 7 am-3:30 pm (peak season) with occasional OT, and some Saturdays required.
