Summary
As a Fiberglass Roller and/or Chopper, you will be an essential part of our manufacturing team, responsible for the assembly and fabrication of fiberglass products. You will utilize core skills such as mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools, while also engaging in materials handling and warehouse tasks. Your role will directly contribute to the efficiency and quality of our production process, ensuring that we meet our organizational goals.
Roller - Inspect utensils for rolling, move molds in/out to lamination area, put putty in the molds, roll fiberglass and resin in the molds.
Chopper - Inspecting and clean the resin gun, move molds in/out to lamination area, spray the parts with fiberglass and resin.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand and power tools to assist in the fabrication and assembly of fiberglass products.
- Follow safety protocols while handling materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of tools and materials.
- Assist in quality control by inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring they meet specifications.
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills in fiberglass handling and processing.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Experience in manufacturing and assembly preferred
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
