Description
The Order Picker holds a critical position of the warehouse team. Their primary role is to pick orders from the floor and shelf locations. Building mixed pallets of multiple items as well as picking single case orders. When picking orders, accurately filling out paperwork and completing transactions on the scanner.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities and Duties)
- Trained on Allergen Storage
- Pallet identification (Heat Treated pallets, Good and bad pallets)
- Proficient in basic WMS functions
- Pick, prepare, and stage distribution orders for shipment from floor picking locations
- Perform quality checks on orders pick by other employees
- Perform timely system picking transactions to maintain inventory accuracy
- Basic use of warehouse scanners and computers
- Assist with pallet wrapping, kitting and relabeling projects
- Abide by our SOPs and commitment to high quality food by maintaining a clean warehouse and following documented procedures
- Other basic warehouse duties

· Communication through email with other departments and well as with outside customers and vendors
· Works well with a team as well as with other supporting departments
Requirements
Need To Have (Skills)
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel/Word functions
- Experience with an ERP and WMS
- Other computer basics such as email
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Nice To Have
Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking

Work Environment
This job operates in a production setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to odors, fumes, dust or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes expected to taste the products. Certain products handled by the company contain egg allergens.

Job requirements

Shift Hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm
Monday - Friday
Overtime might be required at times
Occasional/Rare weekend work

High School Diploma or equivalent
