Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assembly team member to join our food packaging operation. In this hands-on role, you will work on both wet and dry production lines, ensuring food products meet quality and safety standards while assisting with packaging. This role plays a key part in maintaining BetterBody Foods’ commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Duties
- Work on wet and/or dry production lines.
- Assemble and package food products according to specifications.
- Ensure food products meet desired quality and safety standards.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with labeling, sealing, and final packaging of product.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with GMP and food safety standards.
- Perform routine quality inspections and remove defective items from the line.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Performs other related tasks, as required.

Requirements
Competencies
- Ability to understand and follow written and spoken instructions in English.
- Ability to take and pass a food handler’s certification test within 30 days.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
- This job operates in a warehouse/manufacturing facility.
- Exposure to allergens (e.g., peanuts), odors, fumes, dust, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration is frequent.
- Noise levels can be loud.
- Temperature in the warehouse varies with weather conditions.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with arms.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- May occasionally be required to taste products.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position.
- Typical work hours and days are either Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday.
- Shifts are from 5:00am – 3:30pm or 3:20pm – 1:50am.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
Travel
Occasional travel within 5 miles may be required.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience
Prior experience working in a GMP/FDA-regulated facility.
