Job Description:
The Facility and Technical Service Supervisor position is the point of contact for all parties working the night shift. This includes maintenance, sanitation and janitorial. They are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of machine and facility maintenance and sanitation are completed in a food safe manner and that production will be able to start up on time without issue. The supervisor will attend meetings and have daily communication with the Director of Technical Services. The supervisor will be the onsite expert in the company's SOPs for sanitation and janitorial. The supervisor may be asked to perform other duties based on company needs.
Shift: Nights
- Lead by example through the company Mission, Vision and Values.
- Inspire teams to meet or exceed company goals.
- Create and update company SOPs for Tech Service processes.
- Observe, support and monitor Sanitation activities are completed in a timely manner.
- Conduct training in current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Sanitation/Company SOPs for new employees.
- Escalate food safety and safety issues or concerns.
- Complete Sanitation Post-Cleaning Checklist in Redzone.
- Participates in Kaizen, CI and 5-S activities, as required
- Ensure Redzone documentation is being filled out correctly and accurately.
- Conduct and record nightly results of cleaning validations (ATP swab testing).
- Verify that finished cleaning meets specifications and release equipment to QA or Production.
- Preform weekly process verifications of the process based on established SOPs.
- Test chemical titrations weekly for correct chemical ratios.
- Perform maintenance related tasks such as PM's, PM audits and other PM related tasks based on company needs.
- Perform stop observations and behavioral observations monthly to ensure a safe working environment.
- Be a member of the Safety Response Team.
- Report out to company with a nightly shift report detailing the events of the shift.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Engineering and Technical Services.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preference will be given for a college or technical degree in a relevant field or prior Sanitation or Maintenance experience working with industrial food manufacturing).
- Demonstrated excellent teamwork

General manufacturing working conditions exists. Exposures include, but are not limited to temperature changes, noise, dust, and moving equipment and machinery. Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
