Business Systems Analyst will approach tasks with a strong drive to master and see to completion in support of our IT Department in the following duties and responsibilities :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Gather detailed business requirements to support business needs aligned.
Configure systems to support business SOP’s and develop audits to ensure accuracy
Contribute to and maintain system standards.
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks.
Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
Develop, analyze, prioritize, and execute on requirement specifications, data mapping, initial set-up for new customers / business within core business applications
Operations and Support :
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Utilize routing software to support RFPs and other operational projects
Create, change and delete user accounts per request.
Provide Tier III / other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Maintenance :
Maintain operational, configuration or other procedures.
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
Perform ongoing performance tuning to various software packages.
Qualifications :
3 years of systems administration, maintenance, and analysis experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a similar field or demonstrated job performance equivalent of educational requirements.
The position must make accurate decisions at times with limited data available.
Ability to interface with non-technical staff and provide technology solutions with minimal disturbance.
