About The Role
Betterment’s B2B Marketing Team is seeking a driven marketer to aid in the production and execution of events for our rapidly growing B2B business lines.
As a Sr. Event Marketing Associate, you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing events that drive engagement, generate leads, and strengthen relationships with partners and clients. This position spans both Betterment at Work and Betterment Advisor Solutions. This person will work to ensure that events are in alignment with each business line’s unique goals and will report to the Senior Event Marketing Manager.
This role is based out of our NYC office. Below we've reflected the base salary range we would offer for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.

- New York City: $85,000 - $95,000
A day in the life
- Support the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events, including trade shows, conferences, and hosted experiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align event strategies with business objectives and brand messaging.
- Manage event logistics, budgets, and timelines while coordinating with external vendors and venues.
- Assist in developing event materials, including invitations, landing pages, presentations, and follow-up communications.
- Partner with sales and demand generation teams to drive registration, tailor audience messaging, and maximize engagement.
- Act as an on-site or virtual point of contact during events, ensuring smooth execution and troubleshooting as needed.
- Assist with compiling event reports with actionable insights and recommendations for future improvements.
- 2 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or a related B2B role.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM tools (HubSpot a plus), and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and open to travel as needed.
