Machining Department Job Description
We are looking for highly skilled CNC machinists to join our machining department at Betts Precision. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machining equipment, inspecting parts, and meeting or exceeding efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Set up and operate machining equipment such as 3-axis mills, 5-axis mills, horizontal mills, dual-spindle lathe (with live tooling), and 5-axis machine centers
- Inspect parts to ensure critical dimensions are being held consistently
- Meet or exceed pre-determined efficiency goals
- Have a strong understanding of blueprint reading, G-Code programming, and tool offset adjustments
