A professional mental health staff serves a growing caseload of 2,800 patients, of which greater than ninety-five percent are chronically mentally ill and suffering from major psychiatric disorders. BJK Peoples Health Centers operates a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center and a Comprehensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center for adults and youth.SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure that all services are billed to the appropriate fund source with a 98% level of compliance for all policies, procedures, and standards (rate of billing errors at or below 2%). Resubmit rejected claims in a timely manner and according to policies.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Process POS, Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial (as assigned) Electronic billing for all providers (CPRC, PSRC, CPRC Jr. Intensive / Rehab and Outpatient including removing and correcting any errors to complete billing.2. Research and rebill all rejected claims for POS, Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial (as assigned) daily to correct and resubmit in a timely manner. Communicate with Staff and Supervisors to correct errors.3. Reconcile billings, payments and rejects for POS, Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial (as assigned).4.Post all POS, Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial (as assigned) payments in NextGen.5. Maintain POS, Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial (as assigned) billing files for the Facility.6. Provide reports from NextGen.7. All other duties as assigned.
