Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent customer relationships by communicating with the customer concerning their inquiries in a timely manner, with accuracy and professionalism
- Work with sister companies and internal technical personnel to define solutions; generate estimates and proposals for submittal and discussion with customers
- Continually follow up with customers and technical groups informing them of status of proposals and to clarify additional details that may be required
- Assist in setting up new projects in terms of invoicing, purchase order generation and scheduling the resources that will be required for the support projects
- Generate & process service support orders, proposals, and estimates while remaining flexible to shifting priorities
- Generate and manage purchase orders to vendors; coordination of invoices
- Review estimated versus actual for projects, including reviewing and reconciling time sheets and expense reports for field technicians
- Assist with project management activities directly related to Customer Support projects
- Assist in the proposal generation of system enhancements and modifications
- May be assigned to special projects or required to perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Requirements/Skills and Abilities
- Five (5) years of technical Customer support and Administrative experience
- Excellent time management /organizational skills
- High degree of accuracy, attention to details
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Technical aptitude; familiarity and experience with industrial equipment
- Previous project coordination experience a plus
- Advanced computer skills; including proficiency in the most recent versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- ERP experience is a plus
- Periodically required to work extended hours, as needed
