Reports To: Relocation and Field Services Manager
Location: Houston, TX or Midland, TX
Amount of Travel Required: >25%
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8 am – 5 pm)
Positions Supervised: Service Supervisors
AIP: Level 6
POSITION SUMMARY: The Frac Move Manager schedules personnel, equipment, tooling, and parts needed to support the maintenance tasks as well as rig up and rig down of the frac move equipment as needed. The Frac Move Manager is responsible for the direct overseeing of all frac move operations across Texas, deploying teams to needed locations and collaborate with frac operations personnel on needs for each job/crew. Manage inventory of items with third parties and internal to develop deployment strategies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (“The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.”)
- Supervise and manage Service Supervisors
- Manage housing, flights, scheduling, tooling and vehicles for Service Supervisors
- Provide trouble shooting oversite on Frac Move operations, tooling needs
- Approve time sheets and expenses for supervisor roles
- Help set goals for the supervisor roles
- Support Frac Move team as needed
- Provide pre-job and post-job analysis (where applicable)
- Conduct work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace
- Provide essential training plans for personnel on Frac Move
- Evaluate operational readiness of iron inventory, tooling and related equipment
- May aid in implementation of more efficient working tasks, processes and procedures
- Pre job preparation readiness to include tooling and parts
- Produce Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) submissions for replacement items and new inventory items
- Develop new and innovative ways of utilization of current inventoried items and new designs to frac move team
- Develop Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures focused on safety, process adherence communication, and efficiency
- Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIRMENTS:
- Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, an any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Proficiency in the spoken English language
- Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Daily in-person, predictable attendance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical training, associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, hydraulic fracturing operations, frac iron inspection, operations and maintenance or similar preferred
- At least 5 years of previous frac operations experience
- Previous experience with BIG Bore, experience with impact wrenches, and maintenance preferred
- 10-20 years of previous oilfield industry related background
- Supervisory and managerial experience highly preferred
- Specific knowledge of frac equipment rig up, frac irons types and inspection protocols
- Knowledge of frac equipment and rig up/rig down procedures
- Knowledge of Equipment Auxiliary systems and tools

- Experienced in developing and executing strategic deployment plans for equipment and personnel
- Ability to convey technical information clearly and facilitate cross-team collaboration
- Effective communicator with both field personnel, upper management and clients
- Ability to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.
- Efficient at Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. When required to go to a wellsite,
employees will rideshare with multiple employees. Work environment includes exposure to hazardous
materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather. Given these conditions
employees are required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE)
(fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and impact
gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. Frac Move Managers are regularly required
to lift heavy objects; therefore, must be able to lift 49 lbs. independently and
50-100 lbs. with a team lift.
Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on job demands.
