Position Summary:
The AI Program Manager will lead the strategy, development, and implementation of generative AI initiatives across the BEUSA family of companies. This role is responsible for establishing an AI vision, defining roadmaps, and managing cross-functional teams to integrate advanced AI solutions that drive innovation, efficiency, and a competitive edge. The AI Program Manager will collaborate with leadership and technical teams to champion generative AI and data science, guiding the team in leveraging these tools to meet business objectives and positioning BEUSA as an industry leader in AI adoption.
The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on expertise. This role requires exceptional communication skills, executive-level stakeholder management, and a proven ability to lead teams in deploying AI-driven solutions at scale.
Essential Functions:

- AI Strategy & Program Oversight: Define and communicate the AI strategy and vision, aligning AI initiatives with company goals. Set clear objectives and milestones to guide AI projects from conception to execution. Oversee planning, development and deployment of AI projects ensuring relevant KPIs are met.
- AI & Data Science Leadership: Provide technical direction on AI model development, machine learning methodologies, and best practices. Guide the team in data exploration, predictive modeling, and prototyping.
- Scalable AI Solutions: Lead efforts to build scalable and ethical generative AI solutions that integrate seamlessly within business processes and IT infrastructure. Prioritize efforts in areas such as generative AI and Machine Learning that have both horizontal and vertical impact.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executives, functional teams, and individual stakeholders to understand needs, set priorities, and ensure AI initiatives are aligned the with the overall business strategy and functional group goals.
- AI Ethics & Best Practices: Collaborate with leadership to establish ethical guidelines for AI usage, ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI-driven solutions.
- Change Advocacy: Promote understanding and adoption of AI across all levels of the organization, training stakeholders on AI’s benefits, risks, and ethical implications.
- Infrastructure & Systems Integration: Partner with IT and data architecture teams to ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure, enabling successful deployment and scaling of AI solutions.
- KPI Development & Monitoring: Develop and monitor KPIs to track the success of AI initiatives, providing insights on performance, ROI, and opportunities for improvement.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on emerging trends in generative AI and traditional data science to ensure the company adopts cutting-edge methods and tools.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Successfully pass background check.
- Possess a valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Maintain daily predictable attendance.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 years of professional experience in a data focused role, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role. Industry experience in Oil & Gas is preferred.
Qualifications, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:
- Business & Communication Skills:
- Demonstrated experience building and leading AI or data science teams. Proven ability to inspire and manage talent to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting technical topics to executive audiences.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution, making data-driven decisions aligned with business objectives.
- Experience guiding organizations through the adoption of emerging technologies. Familiarity with change management principles and strategies for effective stakeholder buy-in.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of generative AI, machine learning, and data science methodologies, with the ability to guide the application of these technologies to solve complex business challenges and drive innovation.
- Familiarity with advanced AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., large language models, natural language processing) and experience with platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn to ensure informed strategic decisions on technology adoption and integration.
- Proficiency with cloud environments like AWS or Azure, with an emphasis on scaling AI solutions, data integration, and ensuring secure, compliant, and robust AI infrastructure.
- Experienced in transforming data into actionable insights that drive measurable outcome. Ability to oversee and guide the technical team’s work to maintain high standards in data quality, reliability, and impactful results.

- A high degree of curiosity, with the ability and desire to learn new skills both on-the-fly and in formal learning environments.

Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. The AI Program Manager works primarily indoors and will be sitting prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. Business Systems Analyst may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, Business Systems Analyst must be able to lift 25lbs.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
