Shipping and Receiving Operator
Bev-Hub– Manhattan, KS
Position Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Operator is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving
incoming shipments. Duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in,
reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and
documenting damage to inventory. This position requires a high attention to detail, capability
utilizing WMS/ERP software, and the ability to work independently.
Essential Job Functions:
• Responsible for the timely shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies into
the facility of which assigned.
• Collaborates and communicates with Operations Team, QA, Warehouse Supervision, and others
involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments via appropriate
documentation, WMS/ERP, etc. to ensure accurate traceability of goods or materials .
• Ensure supplier receivables are on Bev-Hub Approved Supplier List.
• Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
• Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately or
when assigned.
• Provides additional backup support other departments.
• Track ingredients by lot numbers and expiration dates to ensure usage and traceability is
maintained and applied correctly applied across all LOT codes/dates.
• Verify raw ingredient material quantities against client PO or production output
requirements.
• Complies with sanitation requirements in material staging areas, ship/rec areas, and/or other
areas as assigned.
• Othe duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to read and understand reports, BOLs, schedules.
• Detail oriented and organized person required for this position.
• Computer, tablet & scanner skills preferred.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Must always wear protective equipment when on production floor.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Experience operating forklift & hand trucks.
• Good Math experience needed.
• Warehouse experience.
• Participates actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions.
