About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Apprentice in Milwaukee. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Typical Hours: 1st shift
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist electricians with the installation maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn and follow electrical codes, safety guidelines, and best practices.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Perform basic electrical tasks under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics under supervision.
- Identify and report any issues or hazards on job sites.
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues.
- Maintain a professional attitude and work collaboratively with the team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in construction or electrical work is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of electrical tools and materials is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and make independent decisions.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with smartphones (email, texts, work order systems).
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work within tight spaces
