About The Position
We are looking for a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Milwaukee. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems across various multifamily new construction and remodel projects.
Typical Hours: 1st shift
What You’ll Be Doing
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide efficient, lasting solutions
- Supervise and guide apprentices and other team members when necessary
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including testing and inspections
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on schedule
- Document work completed and materials used for service records
- Current and valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Wisconsin
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in electrical work
- Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
- Ability to manage multiple projects and make independent decisions
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with smartphones (email, texts, work order systems).
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work within tight spaces
