Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Carton Filling Specialist 1 to join the team. This role will be responsible for performing QC checks, utilizing established and future quality tools, package integrity checks, case and bottle expiration checks. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Attend all production, communication and training meetings as required by the organization and/or department leadership
- Troubleshoot and investigate barriers to meeting departmental objectives and eliminate, when possible, offer solutions or take an active role in recruiting the resources necessary to remove these barriers
- Investigate, troubleshoot and solve technical issues on the equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Capable of completing equipment CL’s and CIL’s and any drumbeat activities
- Demonstrate effective communication between shifts and employees including, but not limited to, safety, quality and productivity
Requirements:
- Must have or be able to obtain forklift license.
- Must be able to safely and efficiently run equipment in the department within the qualification period.
- Must flow to work and assist with quality checks, changeovers, cleanup, and other departmental tasks.
- Actively support TPM programs.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to 5S standards
- Be a role model and lead the department in TPM objectives and priorities including AM, FI and OCCI as determined by the department and line teams
- Capable of completing equipment CL’s and CIL’s and any drumbeat activities
- Perform established QC checks utilizing established and future quality tools, including but not limited to fill weight, package integrity checks, case and bottle expiration and lot information checks, and any other checks that may be required to ensure product quality.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments, with a strong emphasis on adhering to safety protocols and maintaining operational standards.
- Willingness to be onsite daily in Tropicana manufacturing facility in Bradenton, FL
- May need to work more than 40 hours a week and/or work 12-hour days up to 7 days per week
- Must have permanent, unrestricted U.S. work authorization
