Role Overview:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Talent Coordinator to provide critical support across our Talent team. The role will be support the Talent Acquisition team, focusing on hourly recruitment for all US facilities, and the Supply Chain HR team, specifically managing the Union internal bid process. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Talent Coordinator will work closely with candidates, hiring managers, union representatives, and HR partners, ensuring a smooth and efficient talent acquisition experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to coordinate all aspects of the hourly recruitment process for plant and distribution center roles, from requisition creation and posting through the offer and preboarding process.
- Manage the Union internal bid process for all Supply Chain roles, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines, and identifying ways to streamline and modernize the process. This includes communicating with union representatives, tracking bids, and facilitating the selection process.
- Provide dedicated support to the Bradenton plant for Talent needs, acting as the primary point of contact for hourly recruitment needs and fostering strong relationships with local leadership and hiring managers.
- Schedule interviews, proctor assessments, and assist with other recruitment activities, ensuring timely and effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other HR systems.
- Assist with pre-employment screening processes, including background checks and drug tests, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with the broader Talent Management team to support other Talent initiatives on an as-needed basis, such as onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process.
- Foster a positive candidate experience by being a strong brand ambassador in all interactions with candidates and our internal teams
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of experience in a coordination role, preferably within a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources environment, with experience supporting hourly recruitment and/or union environments a plus.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Bradenton, FL surround area.
- Willingness to work onsite at the Bradenton Plant five days a week, with flexibility to occasionally work remotely as business needs allow.
- Legally authorized to work in the country to which you are applying without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits now or in the future.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with limited direction and balance competing priorities.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is required.
