Job Summary
Maintenance Operator “A” will work independent, but will serve also as a lead trainer to Maintenance Operator “B” to ensure correct performance of daily duties. Maintenance Operator “A” will be responsible for preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, general trouble shooting in their assigned areas, and completion of proper preventive maintenance forms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check, clean, repair A/C units.
- Check, clean, repair furnaces.
- Check, clean, repair chillers.
- Check, clean, repair pumps.
- Check, clean, repair boilers.
- Change filters.
- Repair/replace motors.
- Track Freon usage.
- Required to be on call a week for one week at a time per rotation pattern.
- Required to do the work of an Operator "A" when not doing A/C, heating work. This includes but is not limited to preventative maintenance, installation, repairs and general troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, etc., in assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Experienced in A/C work.
- EPA certified. Be familiar with reclaimer.
- Good working knowledge of heating and A/C system.
- Good working knowledge of electrical systems, including AC, DC, three phase, NEC, conduct bending.
- Good working knowledge of plumbing.
- Must possess or obtain a valid class B valid drivers license.
- Must provide proof of HVAC certification.
