Job Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY: To monitor and review all aspects of the Beverly Farm Training Department. To ensure appropriate training is provided to Beverly Farm Foundation employees according to state and federal regulations and Beverly Farm Foundation policy and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible directly for: Staff Training Assistant, Education Resources Specialist, and Computer Support.
• To create and direct the DSP training curriculum according to state guidelines; ensuring that DSP training is completed by DHS approved instructors, classroom attendance is documented and adequate OJT hours are allotted. Review the DSP training curriculum as needed and submit to DHS every two years.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met before submitting DSP trained employees to the Health Care Worker Registry.
• To create and direct the QIDP training curriculum according to state guidelines; ensuring that QIDP training is completed by DHS approved instructors and training is completed in the correct timeframe.
• Provide on-going education and opportunities to improve employee capabilities, knowledge and job performance. Ensure CEU’s are obtained by those individuals required to do so.
• Ensure regulatory requirements have been met and BFF policies followed prior to submitting billing reimbursement information to the BFF Business Office.
• Ensure BFF employee training files are current, contain appropriate information and documentation and are available upon request.
• Complete and maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations and Beverly Farm Foundation policies.
• Ensure Supervisory Training is completed in a timely manner per policy.
• Communication with departments to ensure a quality training program which enhances the job performance of BFF employees.
• Oversee the BFF internship process, maintain records, set schedule with appropriate departments and review.
• With the assistance and guidance of the Human Resources Director and Manager, oversee the safety training programs within the Beverly Farm Foundation.
• To provide feedback to the Human Resources Director and Department Heads as needed.
• Participate in meetings and Beverly Farm Foundation functions as required.
• Travel may be required.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited four-year college or university or at least five to seven years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as benefit plan documents, and policy and procedural manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to understand and effectively present information and respond to questions from administrative staff, employees, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or report form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in non-standardized situations. Able to use tangible and intangible information to come to a result.
Technology Skills:
Utilizes computer to accomplish job tasks. Computer literacy essential in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and databases. Knowledge of Outlook or similar program.
