Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Body Technician with a minimum of 3 years in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing, replacing, and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our customers’ vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and repair structural and cosmetic vehicle damage.
- Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels and parts, including bumpers, doors, and fenders.
- Perform frame straightening and welding as needed.
- Sand, fill, and prepare surfaces for painting.
- Ensure alignment and fitment of panels and parts.
- Work collaboratively with painters and other team members to meet repair deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and shop procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Body Technician in a professional shop environment.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment commonly used in auto body repair.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and understand repair estimates and follow work orders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and equipment as needed.
