Beverly Middle School is hiring a highly qualified special education teacher to work within our Language-Based Program to provide small group specialized reading and written language instruction within a partial inclusion program.
Candidate must have experience with the writing of IEP goals and objectives and the ability to collect student data, analyze data and accurately report academic progression on progress reports and within Team Meetings. Candidate must have experience with evaluating students with language-based learning disabilities and reporting findings within Team meetings. This position further requires training and experience working with students with specific learning disabilities in the areas of reading (ie OG, Wilson, LiPS). The candidate will be required to effectively communicate and collaborate with all staff to support the academic needs of the students within the program and insure implementation of accommodations and/or modifications across the school setting. Candidate must also effectively communicate with parents. Qualified candidate will have evidence/documentation of training in programs designed to develop reading and written language skills.
