Beverly Public Schools is looking for substitute nurses throughout the district. A substitute nurse will manage the health office at a school when the nurse is unavailable; e.g., because of illness, personal leave, or other reasons. A substitute nurse will ensure the health and safety of students during the school day. Responsibilities will include medical management, diabetic management, seizure prophylaxis, and g-tube feeds as well as assessments for routine sick visits throughout the school day. A substitute nurse may also be asked to cover a field trip when student(s) requiring medical intervention are off site for experiential learning with their class or school.
