What are the responsibilities and job description for the B-2 Cybersecurity Engineering Subject Matter Expert position at Bevilacqua Research Corporation?

Responsibilities:
- provide IA and technical expertise for information systems, systems engineering, STE, legacy operating systems, laboratory equipment, and avionics systems/sub-systems-related modernization and sustainment programs supported in the B-2.
- be the IA security official responsible to support in coordinating and obtaining security approval for sanitization and secure handling procedures for avionics line replaceable units and STE driven by sustainment and modification programs.
- apply in-depth knowledge of various computer and electronic systems, from Windows and UNIX-flavored operating systems to avionics and test equipment hardware.
- advise and assist with implementation of DoDI 5205.11 and Department of Defense Manuals (DoDM) 5205.07, Volume 1-4 as well as JSIG regulations for SAP IA oversight and management of computer and avionics equipment.
- assist with IA security oversight and approval of modernization program equipment directly tied to software integration, operations and implementation schedules for new capabilities for the warfighter.All of these capabilities directly affect the maintenance and improvement of aircraft availability.
- support development and approval processes for PPPs, AT plans, ATO requests, and other milestone decision and design documentation reviews as required.
- Support the initiation, supervision, and development requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs;
- Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff;
- Assist in providing detailed analysis, evaluations and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues;
- Consult with the Government to define need or problem, and;
- Support studies and assist in leading surveys to collect and analyze data used to provide advice and recommend solutions.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience and an ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- apply an understanding of DoD, AF, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes and procedures to assist in improving performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required.
