JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Wound Care experience important
- Must have clear verbal communication skills
- Prior primary care and wound care experience a plus
- Consults with defi nitive diagnostic results; maintains accurate records
- Reviews medical history, allergies, symptoms, and current medications
- Formulates suitable treatment plans
- Prescribes medications to patients and provides proper dosage and administration instructions
- Compassionate bedside manner
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Will have a set of scheduled hours with routine and new patients; punctuality is critical
- This position requires travel in your personal vehicle to see patients in their home setting. Mileage is reimbursed.
- Company reimbursement for successful Wound Care certifi cation test is available. JOB
REQUIREMENTS:
- Board-Certifi ed Nurse Practitioner (ANP, AGNP, FNP, ENP, or ACNP)
- Masters Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Highly recommended certifi cations (WCC, CWON, or CWS)
- One year of direct wound care experience
- At least one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Prefer experience in Wound Care, Home Care, Emergency Department or Intensive Care Units
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be willing to learn and demonstrate the ability to communicate well with family, patients and other team members
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
