Second Grade Teacher - beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Ohio educator license in one of the following areas: Resident Educator or 5 Year Professional Early Childhood (P-3) License or Primary (P-5) License, or an Ohio 5 Year Professional or Permanent Elementary Education (1-8) License.
- Plans instruction to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students;
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and supports students’ sense of belonging;
- Experience in implementing instructional interventions and differentiation of content, process, product, and environment to support students' needs;
- Willingness to collaborate with grade level team to review student data, create and revise curricula, review instructional practices, and develop common assessments;
- Commitment to communicating and establishing positive relationships with families and students;
- Assesses student growth regularly and provides progress reports to families and formative feedback to students;
- Commitment to learning and implementing restorative practices;
- Self-reflective of their performance, abilities, strengths, areas of growth, and instructional practices;
- Commitment to equity and inclusion;
- Commitment to our Employee Code of Conduct and our Strategic Plan.
