Description:
Paraprofessionals/Special Education Aides will be working directly with students with disabilities. Preference given to candidates with Paraprofessional license and experience working with students with disabilities.
Job Summary:
To support the instruction and safety of students with individualized education programs (IEPs) on their goals and objectives determined for ESY by their IEP team. Paraprofessionals/Special Education Aides would report to Intervention Specialists and support the instruction and data collection of students’ IEP goals and objectives, while also ensuring the safety of the students.
Qualifications:
All Paraprofessional/Special Education Aide applicants should be certified in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) techniques and must have or be eligible to obtain an Educational Aide license through the Ohio Department of Education.
Hours: 7 hours paid per day
Number of days per school year: 190 (182 work days and 8 paid holidays)

- No degree and no experience: $18.12 p/hour
- Bachelor's degree and no experience: $20.45 p/hour
- Current and active teaching license: increases pay by $0.38 p/hour
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): increases pay by $1.00 p/hour
- Rates of pay are increased with verifiable educational experience
- Longevity incentive after 120 days of service
