Job Title: Full-Time Enrolled Agent (EA)

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our team full-time. In this role, you’ll work under the guidance of a CPA, acting as the key liaison between clients, the CPA, and our team while managing tax preparation and planning tasks. What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review individual, business, and multi-state tax returns (1120S, 1120, 1065).
- Work closely with a CPA to ensure accuracy and compliance in all tax preparation and planning tasks.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, the CPA, and the team. Gather necessary documentation and address client inquiries.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize savings.
- Prepare quarterly and year-end tax projections.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client tax services.
- Provide excellent client service, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness at all times.
What You Bring
- Enrolled Agent (EA) certification (required).
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of proven experience in tax preparation.
- Proficiency in UltraTax software and QuickBooks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively manage client relationships and collaborate with the team.
- Work in-person in Washington, DC area office.
