Responsibilities
- Prepare business returns (1120S, 1120 & 1065) and personal tax returns with multiple states
- Prepare financial statements
- Deliver business advisory services
- Identify tax strategies for clients and prepare and deliver tax plans
- Assist clients with IRS notices and other compliance issues in a timely manner
- Prepare quarterly and year-end tax projections
- Forward the firm's purposes: 1. Helping clients keep more of their hard earned money through proactive tax planning and education. 2. Giving clients peace of mind knowing that their taxes are done accurately and filed timely, and they have a team here to support them, thus free up their attention units to do what they do best and flourish and prosper.
Qualifications
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
- Proven tax experience and expertise in tax accounting - 3 years preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks
- Ambitious with the desire to be an equity partner in the near future
- Solution-oriented with great common and business sense
- Initiative-driven and strong people skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
