What are the responsibilities and job description for the Future Opening: Behavior Technician position at BEYOND ABA LLC?
Implementing skill acquisition programming as well as behavior intervention plans directly with students.
Collecting necessary data as needed based on the direction of Treatment Technician or BCBA on the team.
Providing written and verbal daily updates for team and parents/caregivers.
Must be able to implement recommendations given by Treatment Technician or BCBA in a feasible amount of time.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must have a high school diploma.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to provide a safe, positive based, successful environment for students.
Must be available for regular on-going training, supervision, and continuing education.
Must have reliable transportation.
The Behavior Technician reports directly to the Treatment Technician (if assigned) or the BCBA on the case.
No prior ABA experience is necessary, but an ideal candidate will be energetic and motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Beyond ABA provides in-home Applied Behavior Analysis services as a treatment modality for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities. Our dedicated staff take the time to gain a thorough understanding of the all around needs or our clients and families, and develop treatment plans that will aide in the reduction of aggressive, repetitive or stereotyped behaviors, while simultaneously increasing communicative and social skills. Clients work 1 on 1 with energetic, compassionate, trained behavior technicians in order to achieve their goals while parents are provided training with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in order to learn the skills necessary to generalize skills learned in session into the child's natural environment with family and other caregivers.
