What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utilization Review Specialist (PART TIME) position at Beyond Addiction?
MUST HAVE
- EXPERIENCE WITH CCBH (COMMUNITY CARE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH)
- EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CLINICIANS AND CLINICAL CASE MANAGERS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the UR process to assure that the examiners are following all CMS rules and regulations in conjunction with the insurance company guidelines
- Must be able to maintain knowledge of counselor case load to understand patient treatment plan
- Work directly with Clinical Director to ensure days of stay are maintained for patients as needed
- Timely intake, continues stay, and discharge UR and summaries
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Health claims to process
- Basic to intermediate math
- Medical terminology; ICD-9 & ICD-10
- MS Office
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Time management
- Written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
