About the Role:
As a Social Skills Group Assistant/Behavior Technician Substitute, you will play a vital role in supporting our social skills groups and providing one-on-one behavioral support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the implementation of social skills group activities.
- Providing support and encouragement to group participants.
- Collecting data on participant progress.
- Implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst.
- Providing one-on-one support to clients as needed.
- Substituting for regular Behavior Technicians as needed, which may include increased hours and responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate:
- A passion for working with children and adolescents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Some experience in education, psychology, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
