Beyond Behavioral Health is a community leading outpatient behavioral health agency. We specialize in cooccurring disorders, medication management and addiction counseling. We have a fun, easy going work environment with the best team in town!
We are looking for a part time PRN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for coverage of other NP staff as needed and to work at least 1 full day in the office with their own caseload. We expect this position to be at least 10 hours per week at a minimum and can lead to full time employment if the need is present. At part-time we offer a competitive pay, and paid time off. Our leadership team has over 60 years combined experience in behavioral health and we need the right person for our very active outpatient setting. Our practice is looking for someone to see patients on Fridays and possibly Wednesdays as our need continues to grow and remain available to cover for staff shortages with advance notice.
Duties include assessment of perspective patients with a focus on medication management, monitoring, refilling, discontinuing, prescribing medications according to federal standards including scheduled controlled substances, performing clinical case management, attending required staff meetings and overseeing a small caseload of patients. Duties also require covering for colleagues in your department if they are out of the office and other necessary duties as assigned.
Requirements - PMHNP license that is valid in Washington State. X waiver\DEA# for controlled substance medication management, a strong understanding of electronic record keeping and virtual meetings. The ability to multitask and remain self driven. The ability to keep and maintain medical records according to federal law. Must be team oriented, comfortable in a easy going family style work environment, and adjust to change easily. A specialization in children and adolescents is a huge plus as there is a large unmet need for providers in this area.
Pay: $75.00 per hour
