The Sales Executive plays a vital role in enhancing catering sales for Beyond Catering and Events by cultivating relationships with clients, event planners, and venues. The Event Sales Executive will report directly to the Event Sales Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
« Manage incoming leads from various channels, including the website, referrals and current clients.
« Actively generate and nurture new leads through connections, self-motivation and networking events.
« Identify sales opportunities by exploring key events and activities in the marketplace.
« Research and connect with venues for consideration on preferred catering vendor lists.
« Collaborate with clients to plan menus, develop event proposals and facilitate event execution.
« Maintain an organized customer database and event documentation.
Foster ongoing relationships with catering clients through thank-you notes, follow-up calls, collecting
feedback on orders and requesting referrals.
« Utilize reports to monitor customer activity, sales performance, potential sales and emerging business opportunities, while analyzing sales trends for optimal results
« Keep management informed of progress by maintaining logs, participating in weekly meetings and maintaining an event calendar.
Job Qualifications:
« Exceptional customer service and hospitality abilities, with a keen talent for understanding client needs.
« Skilled in planning and executing events in collaboration with clients and the BCE Team.
« Strong business acumen complimented by excellent verbal and written communication skills.
« Meticulous, logical, analytical and methodical event planning practices.
« Proactive Self-starter with proven sales track record.
« Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and internet tools.
