Responsibilities and Duties will include:
-Provide one-on-one interventions in home and community settings using proven strategies.
-Work directly with families to support individuals develop and foster lasting progress.
-Collect and analyze session data to track progress and adjust goals for maximum impact.
-Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
-Support skill generalization in real-life environments and mentor peers as you gain experience.
-Complete assessments and Progress Reports
-Complete monthly assessments, progress reports, and observations
-Support with intake, community correspondence, and non-caseload clients
-Collaborate with team members, parents, and providers
-Review, write, and complete agency documentation and reports
-Attend staff meetings, clinical meetings and professional training
-Train incoming staff
-Conduct quarterly marketing and team building events
-Comply with HIPAA laws and regulations
Preferred Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field (required).
CPR and HIPPA Training, Safety First Training, and Mandated Reporting (procedures,
laws, regulations) Training. Previous experience working with developmental disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Fragile X, Asperger Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD. Previous experience with the following: ABA, BCBA, Adaptive skills, Adaptive skills trainer Aide, Supported living, Supportive employment, Clinical Supervisor, Behavior Technician, Behavioral therapist, ABA, Caregiver, Special education. A passion for making a difference and strong time management skills.
Reliable transportation, ability to pass a background check, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ability to engage in physical activities such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
