Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This role is crucial in providing support and education to clients and their families, fostering an environment that promotes growth and learning.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to manage behaviors effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Monitor client progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising BCBA.
- Assist in training new staff members on best practices for working with individuals with autism.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children, especially those on the autism spectrum, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
