The Strategic Sourcing Manager position is located in our Center of Excellence in Lisbon.
Development and execution of global sourcing strategies within Electronic Solutions, to streamline and assert procurement strategies and favorable part-/supplier selection for materials and components through co-ordination with procurement and component engineering and to define a competitive and total-cost-optimized upstream supply chain, realizing of economies of scale through a global approach.

Your Mission
- Developing and executing global sourcing strategies, methods and tools for direct and indirect sourcing
- Responsible for material on-time delivery (< 5% late), cost (PPV savings) and quality (supplier quality cost)
- Define methods, tools and forums for effective cross-site supply co-operation
- Asserts favorable part-/supplier selection by co-ordination with component- and mechanical engineering
- Act as a change agent within own organisation as well as towards main stakeholders
- Participates in and contributes to continuous improvement of material practices, designs etc.
- Proactive supplier relationship management of the global supply base across the organisation
- Support Parts Engineering and Design in the work to harmonize part selection and to create and maintain centralized PPL
- Define, develop and maintain KPIs relevant to achieve delivery, cost and quality excellence
- Lead or support major supplier negotiations
- Develop, negotiate, and establish contractual agreements for contract manufacturers, component vendors or suppliers of machined parts, to minimize supply risk and total cost of purchase.
- Lead Key Supplier assessments
- Support SQE in commercial supplier aspects Most important output
- Supporting Make-or-Buy decisions
- Globalized electronics procurement with centralized PPL
Your Story:
- Education in Strategic Procurement or similar
- 5 years in-depth strategic and operational experience in sourcing with a solid working knowledge of global supply base
- Strong analytical skills (risk based) and focus on the essential facts
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid experience from Strategic Procurement in a project-based industry
