About The Position
At Beyond Healthcare, we're looking for compassionate and reliable Behavioral Health Respite (BHR) Staff to provide structured supervision and support for school-aged children (7-18 years old) in a safe, calming environment. This role is similar to a Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) position but focuses less on group facilitation and more on individual support, engagement, and maintaining a structured routine.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday | 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Pay: $23-25/hour
Client Age Range: 7-18 years old
Location: Beachwood, OH with flexibility to drive to Fairlawn, OH location as needed

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with youth in a structured setting
- Help maintain a calm and supportive environment
- Redirect and assist children in staying on task
- Implement basic behavioral support strategies as needed
- Ensure safety and well-being of all participants
- Provide positive role modeling and emotional support
- At least 1 year of experience working with youth in behavioral health, education, childcare, or similar settings
- High School Diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and attentive in a structured environment
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Reliability and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive space
- QMHS - preferred
- Familiarity with regulatory and ethical standards in the behavioral health field.
