Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking, ensuring nutritional needs are met if needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks if needed
- Support clients in participating in community activities and social events to promote engagement.
Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care or home care is required.
- Knowledge of medication administration practices is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Patience and empathy when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive challenges.
