Beyond Hospice is a division of Episcopal Homes and operates The Pillars, in Oakdale, MN and supports Hospice care throughout the community. The Pillars Hospice Home is a residential hospice where end-of-life needs are met with caring, compassionate, and respectful care. The home is a sanctuary where individuals, families, and friends can gather and spend precious time with their loved one. The care we provide is personalized to ensure your end-of-life goals and priorities are met.

SCHEDULE AND WAGE

• $19.50 - $25 Hourly, depending on experience
• Day and Evening Shift Available - Every Other Weekend (block schedule)
• 0.7 FTE (28 hours/week or 56 hours/every 2 weeks).

As a Hospice Home Health Aide at Beyond Hospice, you will be a crucial member of our interdisciplinary team, providing essential care to patients under the guidance of a registered nurse. To excel as a Hospice HHA, you will need a combination of compassion, communication skills, and attention to detail. Your ability to provide personalized care with empathy and understanding will be essential in supporting patients and their families during sensitive and challenging times. Strong observational skills and the capability to report and document patient care accurately are also crucial for maintaining high-quality standards. As part of the interdisciplinary team, effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals will be key to ensuring comprehensive and holistic care for patients.

Position Qualifications

• Completion of a Hospice Aide training program and competency evaluation as specified in Medicare Conditions of Participation 418.76.
• Understands hospice care and the services provided to each patient/family/caregiver through an interdisciplinary group.
