The Automation Engineer must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, inspiring trust and confidence in others, who will then be more willing to trust in the candidate's directives and insights. The Automation Engineer should be interested in learning the environment from a "Systems Level" point of view and be curious to dig into the details of the applications, services, and internal and business processes to provide deep insight to the rest of the team.
This position is hybrid and requires a regular presence at our Addison office a couple days each week.

What You Can Expect to Do:
- Work effectively in a distributed agile software development team
- Work closely with certification, product, and development teams to refine Deliverables
- Identify opportunities for automation of software functionality and processes and implement those ideas as code
- Design and execute QA test plans using both software automation and manual test procedures
- Learn to run tests that validate: applications, databases, cloud services, hardware and software systems.
- Identify bugs and quality issues in development, services, and/or business processes.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C , C#, or Javascript
- 2 to 3 years of experience with Continuous Integration environments supporting large scale cloud infrastructure (GitLab, GitHub, Teamcity, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Azure)
- 2 to 3 years of experience creating and maintaining automation for Restful APIs and UI Applications on desktop, mobile, and web.
- Experience with any UI or API Test Automation Technologies such as Pytest, RPA, XCUITest, UIAutomater2, WinAppDriver, Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, RobotFramework, or SoapUI
- Experience with GIT including creating branches, committing code to a repository, tagging releases, and merging branches.
- Experience with creating SQL Queries as part of manual or automated testing
- Experience with Linux/Unix command-line tools
- Experience with identifying test requirements and creating and executing test plans
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working at startups
- Experience with Load and Performance testing of Applications and APIs
- Experience with Security Testing (Vulnerability Scanning, Security Scanning, Penetration testing)
- Experience with MDM/EDR Integrations such as Intune, Crowdstrike, and Jamf.
- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes in a microservice architecture environment.
- Experience with SSO Products like PingFederate, Okta, Azure AD, ForgeRock
- Experience with using and integrating with device farms such as Browserstack, Sauce Labs, and Kobitron.
