Our clients are mid-to upper middle-market and National Account level businesses as well as Captive’s and other programs. We are currently seeking a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in McKinney. Candidates will need to have a broad knowledge of all lines of commercial business and key concepts in general liability, automobile, workers’ compensation, property, umbrella/excess liability, and executive liability.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and grow a book of small to mid-size commercial accounts that include a wide variety of commercial policy types and industries.
- Initiate renewal process for existing clients and prepare summaries of insurance schedules for review with clients
- Marketing new and renewal business to insurance carriers and wholesale brokers complete Acord forms, renewal spreadsheets, supplementals, and loss summaries
- Analyze and negotiate insurance quotes and make recommendations
- Create proposals and presentations in coordination with producer
- Issue binders, certificate of insurance, evidence of property
- Invoicing in agency management system
- Review and analyze commercial accounts for coverages, limits, etc and make appropriate recommendations to clients
- Communicate with clients, producers and underwriters
- Review and process policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy
- Maintain positive client relationship and have the ability to analyze situations, make
- reasonable decisions and follow-through.
- Utilize carrier online rating programs when necessary
Qualifications:
- 5 years Commercial Lines Account Manager experience preferred
- Must have Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Experience with Applied/EPIC a plus
- Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with good time management skills
