Beyond Risk Management LLC (”Beyond Risk”) is a national insurance platform specializing in alternative-risk transfer structuring, including captives, risk retention groups, program management, and reinsurance for middle-market companies. Overview : Beyond Risk Management is seeking a dynamic Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Cloud Operations to manage daily IT operations and drive strategic initiatives that enhance business growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for innovation and team inspiration. Preference will be given to applicants based in Chicago or Phoenix, though remote applicants will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities :
1. IT Infrastructure Management : Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring efficient system function and minimal disruption. and implement data security protocols and disaster recovery plans to protect against threats and ensure continuity.
Key Outcomes :
Maintain 99.9% infrastructure uptime.
Strengthen security to reduce cyberattack risks.
2. Cloud Operations : Lead Azure Cloud management, optimizing resource use and scaling efficiently and develop cloud strategies for growth and cost-effective resource management.
Key Outcomes :
Deploy scalable Azure infrastructure without disruption.
Achieve 10% savings in cloud services.
3. Enterprise Software Management : Optimize key enterprise applications like Vertafore’s IMS, Salesforce, Dynamics CRM, etc. Drive software adoption and effective use across the company.

Achieve 95% user satisfaction.
Reduce software-related downtime and support tickets by 20%.
4. Leadership & Strategy : Develop an IT strategy that aligns with business goals, fostering innovation and lead and mentor a diverse IT team, driving collaboration and continuous improvement.
