Sr. Director, Product Management

Position: Sr. Director, Product Management (Hybrid, 3 days on-site, NYC)

About the Role

Beyond Solutions is looking for a Sr. Director of Product Management for our premier client to lead the strategic vision and expansion of an advanced data and AI platform. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role involves close collaboration with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver a high-performance platform optimized for high-volume transactional use cases. This position requires a leader with strong technical expertise and business acumen to drive the platform’s development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a robust product strategy and roadmap aligned with company and market objectives.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive product alignment.
• Lead OLTP-focused initiatives, optimizing the platform for high-volume transactional processes.
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and competitive insights, ensuring the platform remains innovative and cutting-edge.
• Engage directly with clients to gather feedback, ensuring the platform effectively addresses real-world needs.
• Clearly communicate product strategy, updates, and KPIs to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor, lead, and grow a team of product managers, collaborating closely with engineering leadership.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• 8 years of leadership experience in product management, with a strong focus on data platforms, OLTP use cases, and AI.
• Proven track record of leading successful product launches in the data platform sector.
• Solid technical acumen with the ability to work closely with engineers, architects, and data scientists.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with current data technologies and architectures, and the drive to stay ahead of industry developments.
