Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Athletic Director to oversee and enhance our sports programs. The Athletic Director will be responsible for program development, coaching staff coordination, and ensuring that all athletic initiatives align with the organization's mission. This role is essential in creating a positive, structured, and impactful environment for our student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee all athletic programs, including travel basketball, football, cheerleading, track and field, tennis, and baseball/softball clinics.
- Recruit, train, and manage coaches and volunteers to ensure high-quality instruction and mentorship.
- Collaborate with community partners, schools, and sponsors to expand program reach and resources.
- Coordinate scheduling for practices, games, tournaments, and special events.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, league requirements, and organizational policies.
- Foster academic and personal development by integrating life skills and educational support into athletic programs.
- Manage budgets, fundraising initiatives, and grant opportunities to sustain and grow sports programs.
- Serve as a liaison between parents, athletes, and the organization to maintain open communication and a positive culture.
Qualifications
- Experience in sports management, coaching, or athletic administration (preferably within a nonprofit or youth sports setting).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Passion for youth development and commitment to Beyond Sports Training Academy’s mission.
- Ability to build partnerships with schools, sponsors, and community organizations.
- Knowledge of league rules, compliance, and safety protocols.
- Background in fundraising, budgeting, and program development is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
