Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Coach to lead our sports programs and inspire young athletes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. As the Head Coach, you will be responsible for developing training programs, mentoring athletes, and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement training programs tailored to the needs of athletes across various sports disciplines.
- Conduct regular practices, ensuring that all participants receive appropriate instruction and support.
- Monitor the progress of athletes, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, discipline, and camaraderie among participants.
- Organize competitions and events, coordinating logistics and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff regarding athlete development and program updates.
- Collaborate with other coaches to create a cohesive sports program that meets the diverse interests of students.
Skills
- Strong background in sports coaching with experience in one or more of the following areas: Football, Cheerleading, 7v7, Basketball, Tennis, Track and Field, Softball, Baseball, and Training.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate young athletes.
- Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to create engaging training sessions that cater to varying skill levels.
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork and personal development.
- Knowledge of health club operations is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

- After school
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Rotating weekends
- Year round work
